What sort of cable should I use between the sensor and controller...?

With the increase in radio interference being transmitted from mobile phones etc.
As a precautionary measure, HEVAC
recommends the use of Screened Cable, earthed
at the controller end ONLY !

When I use and adjustable sensor with a HTC Analogue Controller
what Setpoint should the controller be set at...?

When using an adjustable sensor with a HTC Analogue Controller the Setpoint on
the Controller should be set to mid range i.e. 22.0 Degrees.

My controller does not have a Voltage Supply Selector switch...?

Since 2006 all HEVAC Controllers except for the HTC DIGITAL series no longer have a
Voltage Supply Selector switch. Wiring into the appropriate Voltage terminals either 240Volt
or 24Volt is all that is now required.
Warning: Use only one Supply Voltage at any one time.

My HTC Analogue Controller won't respond when I alter the setpoint... ?

If the Controller has either a full call for cooling  or a full call for heating and doesn't respond when you dial the setpoint knob up or down then the possible causes might be:

Sensor might be open circuit (full cooling call).
Sensor might be short circuit (full heating call).
Wiring between the sensor and the controller might be open circuit
(full cooling call)
Wiring between the sensor and the controller might be short circuit
(full heating call)

My HTC Digital TC Controller implements the Leap Year Incorrectly ... ?

Earlier Versions prior to Version 28 (manufactured before 1995) had an incorrect
Leap Year Program such that the controller implements a Leap Year every four years, but does so, two years late. The Version number of the controller can be checked by simultaneously pushing both the "UP and the "DOWN" buttons for approximately 5 seconds until a "00##" appears
(## = the Version Number. i.e. 27). It should be noted that this error only affects the correct operation of the Holiday "OFF OVERRIDE" program, and not the normal weekly operation of the controller. This problem is normally bypassed by the very fact that the Holiday's have to be reprogrammed each year anyway (if this function is being used) and at the same time the Clock and Date should be checked and corrected if required.
